Are wired earphones still useful in 2023? Logitech G333 versus Razer Hammerhead Pro V2

Today, wherever we look, wireless devices are everywhere. Most of us have therefore known ’wireless earphones’ for long enough that they feel ordinary. So we wondered what everyone thinks:… in 2023 , do we still need to buy wired earphones??
As we know, wireless earphones have the advantages of easy portability and convenience. There is no long cable to get in the way, and no need to plug a lead into your phone. Just pair over Bluetooth and start listening. It is simple. Putting them back in the case after use is convenient too, without cable handling. These are clear benefits.
But wireless models also have a consideration: their ’price’ can be relatively high. A good wireless model for music and gaming can cost more. At a price of around no more than 1 thousand baht or 2 thousand baht and a little more, the quality may still involve compromises. For stronger wireless quality, the review suggests a budget around 2 thousand-baht range, toward its middle to 3 thousand baht or more. If you need reliable earphones without a high price, it is worth remembering that wireless may not always be the best fit for that budget.
If you are searching for good earphones, take a look at these options.! Today we brought 2 wired models from Razer and Logitech for you to consider. Both can handle music and gaming well, so perhaps one will win you over. They are also reasonably priced, at approximately 1 thousand baht and a little more!
For the first model, we start with Logitech G333 earphones. These wired earphones use an In-ear fit.
The box contains:
1. Earphones
2. An adapter toa USB-C
3. A carry pouch
4. Silicone ear tips
5. User guide
The housing uses durable aluminum, suited to everyday handling. Our black sample looks attractive, with a stylish feel, suited to many places and situations and easy to match with clothing. The cable is flat plastic. In our use, it did not tend to tangle. Inline controls provide Pause / Play and volume up/and down, so music can be controlled without reaching for your phone.
For connectivity, the earphones use a 3.5 mm jack.. Phones without a 3.5 socket can also be used with an appropriate connection, since an adapter with a USB-C connector is included. This provides options for compatible devices including PC / phones / Xbox / Playstation / Nintendo with the appropriate audio connection.
As for sound, G333 performed as well as expected. In testing, music sounded good. Vocals did not dominate excessively, allowing vocals and instruments to come through together, with a sense of depth. During games, footsteps and enemies were easy to distinguish, with clear directional cues. Surrounding details were well reproduced. Its In-ear fit passively reduces surrounding noise, making in-game sound clearer. In short, theoverall performance of Logitech G333 is very good for its price.
That covers the first model. Now for the second:! the next earphones are Razer Hammerhead Pro V2 also a wired In-ear design.! The package contains…
1. Earphones
2. Carry case
3. Silicone tips
4. A microphone/headphone splitter
5. User guide
The earphones Razer have very vivid colors, with a bright green cable in the familiar style of Razer the brand. The flat plastic cable also has controls for Pause/Play volume up/volume down and playback, for convenience.!
The connector is a 3.5 mm jack for compatible phone sockets. If you want both microphone and headphones on a PC with separate headphone and microphone sockets, the manufacturer Razer includes a splitter for those separate signals, so you do not need to buy that adapter separately.
For sound quality, the gaming performance is strong, with an emphasis toward treble. This helps reveal details such as enemy footsteps and gunshots in games. For music, however, vocals stand out more than instruments. Bass enthusiasts and those who focus on instrumental detail may prefer another presentation, but for gamers this tuning can be a good match.
Let us briefly compare their strengths and limitations.
1. Wearing comfort: we preferred the double-flange tips supplied by Razer because they feel softer and smaller and enter the ear more easily. By comparison, Logitech even the smallest tips on the other model felt harder to fit, possibly because our ear canals are small. It therefore felt less comfortable than Razer and tended to slip out more while traveling or moving around. Those with larger ear canals may not experience this issue.
2. Sound: we felt Logitech provided more detail and fuller weight. By contrast, Razer the brighter treble sounds clear and suits listeners who favor vocals over instruments. Gunshots sound brighter in games, with a broad overall presentation, whereas Logitech has deeper, more dimensional gunshots.
3. Carry cases: it is hard to pick a winner, since each has different strengths. The pouch from Logitech is soft, flexible and easy to carry. But the other Razer uses a Soft case that feels more protective, with an inner pocket for spare tips. That is useful.
4. For accessories, Razer providesa jack adapter 2 a for connecting to PC the computer. Meanwhile, Logitech includes a jack adapter cable 3.5 uses a USB-C for newer phones. Both are useful in different ways, depending on which devices you use.
